Whoa we are just a mere 10 days away from the start of the conference! So exciting! As you may know or remember, this year each Connexion House or group is adopting a service project in their hometown for this conference. Then the other houses/groups will help provide materials for those projects...it's a great concept and helps us realize the needs of others. In order to give us all some time to gather those materials, we will be listing below the project for each group and then the materials needed. Hey yall! Can you believe it's already July? (Obviously I can't because I just typed "June" and realized that month has already come and gone!) Since it's July it means it's the month for the Connexion Conference and we better get cracking on some of the administrative things. One of the biggest helps will be pre-registration. In light of that, below is the registration form that we would like everyone to fill out. It's about time you learned a little about our speaker for this year's conference.

Pastor Calvin Carr is a graduate of the University of Florida. After many years away from his college town, he has now returned to Gainesville, Florida where he pastors among nearly 70,000 college students. He has recently completed a series of messages on the hard questions of the Christian faith. He is passionate about challenging students to come face to face with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Let's pray that the Lord will use Pastor Carr in amazing ways during the conference!

Hey again yall!

Things are really coming together for this year's conference! The leadership team had a meeting last weekend and dude, this is not something you are going to want to miss. This year's theme will be "Pass It On." Of course at the conference we'll discuss what this really means, but hey at least you know a little something more now!

One big thing we want to mention is the breakout sessions and how great they are going to be. We will be having a guys only/girls only session for everyone so that we can openly talk about issues that we all have. There will be a panel that will be there to share and answer questions as well. Other breakout sessions will include:

• worship (lead by Colin and the Liberty University team)
• facebook and faith (lead by David Parks)
• Godly relationships (lead by Mike and Diane Constantine)
• sharing your faith (lead by Rodney Duncan)
• discipleship
• Others TBD

These sessions are going to be an amazing time to really discuss how your faith can make an impact here in Malaysia and around the world!

Hi y'all!

We are SO excited for this year's conference! It's going to be an amazingly good time where we can spend some time together and just worship our Lord. Since we know you're dying to know some details, here's what we know now:

Conference dates: July 23-24, 2010

Location: Cheras Baptist Church

Starts: Friday night, 23 July at 7pm

Ends: At the end of the day on Saturday (time TBD)

Who'll be there: All the cool people. No, seriously.
